Unit Manager – 35-38K - Wandsworth

Our client is an excellent rated care facility providing nursing, residential and dementia care to elderly people in the Wandsworth area. Due to the ongoing development of services provided to their residents our client is embarking on a major investment and development programme which now includes a state-of-the-art purpose built 40 bedded dementia care unit. Due to this they are seeking a highly experienced dementia unit manager to join their team.

The Unit Manager will lead the nursing and care team in the provision of person centred care.

Leading by example, you will develop, deliver and evaluate dementia awareness training for their staff, ensuring the finest standards of care are maintained within a framework of evidence based practice.

Candidates applying for this role must already be working at management level within a similar dementia environment. You must hold a relevant nursing qualification along with solid management knowledge and a real passion for guiding and mentoring others – and of course, making a difference to the lives of vulnerable older people.
