Care Home Manager £40-55K – Southend on Sea

Our client is a leading healthcare organisation with a national network of nursing and residential homes across the uk that provide care and support for older people. They are currently seeking an experienced nurse manager for their newly commission 60 bed nursing and dementia service in the Southend on Sea area. 

Main duties will be as the Registered Manager for the home. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the care home, with overall responsibility of the home and meeting its statement of purpose. To regularly monitor all areas of the service to ensure at all times the highest achievable standards of care are delivered to the client whilst working within the defined company policies and procedures. Ensure all nursing and care practices are evidence based and reflect current trends. Provide a role model for all other trained nurses working within the Home. Create an open, positive and inclusive atmosphere. Demonstrate strong positive ideas about professional practice and development and promote the rights of the service users (particularly privacy, dignity, independence, choice and self fulfilment) whilst adhering to National Minimum Standards, and all relevant legislative requirements. 

You will need to be a registered nurse with excellent clinical skills and strong background in dementia care. You will need to have been a registered home manager in a similar care home environment.
