Support Workers – Launceston £6.08 - £8.13ph

Our client specialises in providing care for adults in their own homes across North Cornwall. They provide a range of services that promote independent living and work to exceptional standards of care. They are currently looking to recruit support workers to cover the Bude and Launceston area and have both full and part time roles available.

You will be required to undertake all aspects of care for the service users with duties including:

• Assisting services users with personal care and mobility.


• Maintaining and updating records and files


• Liaising with families and outside agencies


• Assisting with shopping or shopping on behalf of service users


• Domestic duties such as laundry, changing beds and cleaning

You will ideally be NVQ2/3 qualified with experience of working in either home care or a residential setting. You must be a driver, preferably with your own transport. In return you will receive ongoing training and career development along with a generous salary and benefits package.
